Boruto - Kakashi's Ninjato (Anbu Era)
Background of Kakashi's Sword
Kakashi Hatake is the Sixth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village (Konoha) in the anime and manga series Naruto, Naruto Shippuden and Boruto. Kakashi is famously known to be the "Copy Ninja Kakashi," as he has copied over a thousand ninjutsu techniques using his Sharingan. Kakashi frequently uses his signature technique, the Chidori, where he concentrates a large amount of electricity to his hand and thrusts it at rapid speed towards his enemies. His movements become so fast that he is able to cut a bolt of lightning in half, earning Kakashi's Chidori the name "Lightning Cutter". With Kakashi's exceptional short sword (ninjato) skills and powerful Chidori technique, he quickly earned the title of captain in the ANBU, the special assassination and tactical squad of Konoha.
