Young Lion's Longsword
Background of the Young Lion
The Young Lion is the son of the king and a descendant of one of the most powerful families within the seven kingdoms. As the eldest child, he ascended to the throne upon the death of the king. A cruel and vicious leader, he ordered the execution of the Warden after the Young Lion’s parentage and claim to the throne was brought into question. His reign was cut short upon his death at his wedding.
The Young Lion owns a longsword, a weapon made of unbreakable steel. It was forged from the remains of the Warden’s Longsword and is the sister blade of the Noble Knight’s Sword. Made specifically for the Young Lion, the sword’s design includes elements, such as a stag design and gold details, that honours the Young Lion’s lineage. The Young Lion never used the sword in combat, as he died shortly after receiving it. The sword was buried with the Young Lion after his death, but later retrieved by the Golden Lion and used in combat against the Tribe.
