Background of Zoey's Shin-kal Throwing Knives from K-Pop Demon Hunters

In the hit animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters, Zoey is the lead rapper, lyricist, and youngest member (maknae) of the chart-topping girl group HUNTR/X. While she captivates fans with her lightning-fast verses on stage, she also lives a double life as a fierce demon hunter alongside her bandmates, Rumi and Mira, fighting to protect the human world from the forces of the underworld.

In combat, Zoey's signature weapons are the Shin-kal (Spirit Blade of Mudang), beautiful ceremonial Korean daggers historically used in shamanic rituals to cut away misfortune. Modifying the traditional tools for battle, Zoey carries six of these elegant blades, fluidly incorporating them into her fighting style as lethal throwing knives. Infused with spirit magic, she strikes demons from afar with pinpoint accuracy, proving that the group's youngest member is an absolute force to be reckoned with.
