Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is one of the Five Elders (Gorōsei), the highest-ranking figures in the World Government, known also by the title “Warrior God of Finance.” He resides in Mary Geoise and is both political powerhouse and formidable swordsman. What sets him apart is that he is the only Elder who wields a legendary sword.

His weapon is a Kitetsu blade—believed to be the Shodai Kitetsu (First Generation Kitetsu), the strongest and most cursed among the Kitetsu line. This sword marks him not just as a wielder of political power, but as a direct combatant. Nusjuro is shown polishing it personally and using it with masterful skill, even in his transformed state—demonstrating speed, precision, and strength. The Shodai Kitetsu is significant both for its mythic lineage (tied to the famed Kitetsu smiths of Wano) and for the danger and prestige it brings to whoever wields it.
