Background of Simoso from Expedition 33

In the acclaimed RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the Simoso is a legendary late-game sword wielded by the enigmatic Verso and the resourceful engineer Gustave. Acquired only by defeating the formidable boss Simon deep within the submerged depths of L'Abîme, this devastating weapon scales massively with Vitality and Agility.

In combat, the Simoso is nothing short of a game-changer, effectively doubling damage output by adding a second instance of Light damage to every skill while frequently applying Burn to enemies. When wielded by Verso, it unlocks an incredible defensive passive, granting invulnerability as long as he maintains a Perfection Rank of A or higher. Though Gustave can equip this mighty blade in New Game Plus to unleash terrifying Light damage, mastering the Simoso remains a testament to surviving the hardest challenges the Expedition has to offer in their quest to defeat the Paintress.
