Background of Alice

Alice Zuberg is an Artificial Intelligence from the Underworld in the anime and light novel series Sword Art Online. After breaking a law from the Taboo Index, she had her memories sealed and was forced to become an Integrity Knight named "Alice Synthesis Thirty." As an Integrity Knight, she wields the Fragrant Olive Sword (alternatively known as the Osmanthus Blade).

The Fragant Olive Sword came from a fragrant olive tree in Centoria. This tree was created by the Goddess Stacia as the first "immortal" object, thus making the sword have the same attributes. It is a longsword of dazzling gold color, with the sword guard having a cross-shape flower design.

Bought from a local Expo this past year

While not the MOST accurate to it's anime appearance, this is still a fantastic looking foam sword. For one thing, it's actually GOLD and it looks great! The sword is really light even for foam swords, the sculpt(?) of the blade is awesome too, and its thin. Should they ever make more SAO swords, I want them up to this standard. ESPESSALLY if they decide to do an actually good Blue Rose Sword. Either base it off this and alter it, or the Proplica.

Scabbards would be great as well, as all the SAO weapons have unique scabbards too and they feel like part of the weapon's identity. But that's just me probably. Point is; Great Sword. I've seen a cosplayer on Twitter use this sword for their shots and it's awesome. Really brings it together.

BUT! Minor irk, Fire & Steel call this the "Fragrant Olive Sword", While yes, it was called that for a little while when early Alicization content was coming out in the west with the likes of the SAO mobile game, Memory Defrag (Rest in Peace), it's name is officially "Osmanthus Sword" in the English translated books by YenPress. All media now use that name as well. Just me being an complete nerd though.
