They undergo extensive training and experimentation that give them enhanced physical and magical abilities, such as superhuman strength and speed, accelerated healing, and combat magic. Witchers train to use two types of swords: Steel swords for human and mortal enemies, and Silver swords for supernatural foes. One of the most famous witchers, Geralt of Rivia, was trained at Kaer Morhen, home of the School of the Wolf.
