Our masterfully crafted real sword is inspired by Afro’s tachi from anime series Afro Samurai, including the high carbon steel blade (toshin) and its iconic shaped guard (tsuba) This functional, metal replica of Afro’s tachi is 102 cm (40 in) long and comes with a wooden sheath. The extreme curve of this sword classifies it as a tachi. The sharpened, durable blade is mono tempered and able to withstand strong impact, making this a functional, battle ready weapon. In between practice or fruit ninja sessions, this samurai sword is also a great home decoration or cosplay photoshoot accessory.

About Afro's Tachi from Afro Samurai

Afro is a tremendously skilled swordsman from the anime and manga series Afro Samurai (アフロサムライ). When he was a child, Afro's father was jealously murdered by Justice, because he had the Number 1 headband. Whoever possesses the headband, inherits godlike powers and gains the title of world's greatest warrior.

Fueled by his father's death, Afro vows to take revenge against Justice, even though it means going up against the power of a God. Afro wields a tachi, a long curved sword with a square guard and a string with a small cowrie shell at the sword's bottom.

Awesome sword!

Afro Samurai was one of my favorites, so I had to get this sword! Looks great, great price, and is definitely functional. We were cutting pool noodles for hours lol!

The sword is perfect!! Detail and craftsmanship are amazing. The only thing is one of the corners on the tsuba got dinged in transit, still really cool though and I'm very happy with my purchase. Will be buying from you all again!!!

So glad and lucky to have it the sword is full Tang and plus have a blood Groove. I'm so happy I just wish it came in the color red but no biggie other than that it's all right I will love to be purchased from your guys in the future fire and steel is awesome hands down in my top five swords to buy websites

i have not used it for any cutting as of yet but I can tell the quality lives up to its title as a battle ready sword, in terms of replicating the afro tachi they did really well down to the cut marks on the tsuba and they also had it ready really fast
