Background of Inuyasha
Inuyasha is a half-demon and the main protagonist in the anime and manga series Inuyasha. As a powerful half-demon with superhuman and dog-like characteristics, Inuyasha does everything he can to protect those he cares about, even if it costs him a lot of pain and serious wounds. In battle, Inuyasha wields the Tessaiga, a finely crafted and powerful demonic sword with the blade forged from his father's own fangs. The Tessaiga is said to be able to "kill a hundred demons in a single stroke," earning the name as "the sword of destruction".
