Background of Geralt

Geralt of Rivia is a legendary Witcher, a trained monster hunter operating in the Continent. After completing his training at Kaer Morhen under his mentor Vesemir, he became a hunter-for-hire. Upon saving the life of the princess of Cintra’s lover, he claimed the Law of Surprise as his reward, which ended up being the princess’ daughter Ciri. He later found Ciri as a young girl and trained her to become a Witcher. A skilled and ruthless fighter, Geralt wields two swords that allow him to defeat both monsters and humans alike.

Geralt wields a Silver Sword, the matching sword to his Steel Sword. Although more delicate than the Steel Sword due to its silver blade, the blade’s material allows the Silver Sword to be used against supernatural enemies such as demons, ghosts, and vampires. In the video game series, the silver sword has a unique bent crossguard and a double wolf pommel. The Wolf School customization has a burnt orange-coloured hilt.

Now I Want to be a Witcher!

I first started purchasing from Fire and Steel on my son's Birthday about a year and and a half ago. He got one of the Demon Slayer Katanas. I was skeptical to purchase anything outside the U.S. (and at that price) for fear of it not arriving, not being good quality, etc. I reached out to ease my worry and got a voicemail but to my surprise, I got a call back pretty quick! We completed that order, received the Katana way sooner than expected (I'm in Florida) and it was amazing quality and detail (No cheap materials!). Sure enough come this Christmas my son had another Katana from one of his favorite Anime's (One Piece) on his list and beings my daughter is a Witcher fan (books and the game), I surprised my daughter with Geralt's dagger for her bookshelves (she now has a Fire and Steel "wish list"). The Katanas are just awesome and Geralt's dagger (weight, material, quality... ALL. OF. IT) makes you want to dress up and go train to be a Witcher! I hesitated initially a year and half ago, but after that one phone call which gave me peace of mind to purchase, I'm so glad I gave them a chance! Now whenever they talk about adding a weapon to their collection, the FIRST place they go is Fire and Steel's website!! If you're on the fence... you can NOT make a wrong choice - we haven't yet!! Cheers to the growing collection!!

Excellent quality item - a must for Witcher fans
