About the Bloodhound's Fang from Elden Ring

Bloodhound’s Fang is a Curved Greatsword in Elden Ring, known for its elegant yet deadly form: a gently undulating blade favored by the Bloodhound Knights. The sword is imbued with a fearsome reputation, especially when used in airborne or jump attacks, which deal increased damage relative to other weapons in its class. It also causes blood loss buildup, making it especially dangerous in prolonged fights.

The weapon carries a special skill called Bloodhound’s Finesse, which lets the wielder execute an upward slash followed by a backward somersault to create distance, and then follow up with a strong attack (Bloodhound’s Step). It scales mostly with Strength and Dexterity and can be upgraded using Somber Smithing Stones. Bloodhound’s Fang is dropped by Bloodhound Knight Darriwil in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in Limgrave, making it an early-to-mid game choice that rewards skillful play.
