Geralt of Rivia's Steel Gwyhyr (Geralt Sword)
Background of Geralt
Geralt of Rivia is a legendary Witcher, a trained monster hunter operating in the Continent. After completing his training at Kaer Morhen under his mentor Vesemir, he became a hunter-for-hire. Upon saving the life of the princess of Cintra’s lover, he claimed the Law of Surprise as his reward, which ended up being the princess’ daughter Ciri. He later found Ciri as a young girl and trained her to become a Witcher. A skilled and ruthless fighter, Geralt wields two swords that allow him to defeat both monsters and humans alike.
Geralt wields a Steel Gwyhyr Sword, a traditional sword forged by gnomes. These swords are forged with special iron materials that make the swords light, yet sharp and sturdy. As a steel sword, the Steel Gwyhyr is used primarily against humans, animals, and other non-magical opponents.
