Leonidas I is the king of Sparta, a town with some of the mightiest warriors of all time, in the video game series Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. As the king, Leonidas deeply cares about Sparta and its people. During the Battle of Thermopylae, Leonidas courageously fought to the death despite being overwhelmed by the Persian army.

He wielded the Spear of Leonidas, a well-crafted and intricately designed spear with the powers and abilities of a god. To commemorate his legacy, his broken spear was passed down to his daughter, Myrrine.
