Kirigaya Kazuto (commonly known as "Kirito") is one of the players that was accepted into the Sword Art Online closed-beta game, in the anime and light novel series Sword Art Online. As a solo player who wears black clothing, he was known as the "Black Swordsman," who defeated the final boss of Sword Art Online and freed the players that were trapped in the game.
Background of Kirito’s Sword
In the game ALfheim Online, Kirito wields the legendary Holy Sword Excalibur, a sword that is even stronger than the Demonic Sword Gram. Kirito obtained this sword after defeating the King of the Frost Giant tribe, Thrym in the Holy Sword of the Ice Palace quest. The Holy Sword Excalibur is a golden longsword with a wing-shaped guard that consists of a triangle-like plate with three gems.
