Background of Akame's One-Cut Killer from Akame Ga Kill

Akame is an extremely skilled swordswoman and a member of the Night Raid (the Revolutionary Army's deadliest assassination group), in the anime and manga series Akame Ga Kill. As one of the deadliest assassins in the Empire, Akame has superhuman abilities and combat powers that let her slay powerful enemies with ease.

In all of her battles, Akame wields her iconic One-Cut Killer: Murasame. The Murasame is a bright red katana with a uniquely shaped guard and an intricate handle with poison markings. It’s a cursed blade that instantly kills anyone with a single cut, by spreading a poisonous curse in the victim's body that stops their heart within seconds.
