Our #3000 grit sword sharpening stone is a medium-fine grit stone designed to refine and maintain your blade’s edge. It’s ideal for smoothing out the scratches left by coarser stones and preparing the blade for final polishing. Measuring 18 cm x 6 cm x 1.7 cm, it’s the perfect size for controlled, even sharpening.

A #3000 grit stone is typically used in the intermediate stage of sharpening, helping to restore sharpness and prolong edge retention between full resharpening sessions. It can also be used on its own for routine edge maintenance.

To use, simply wet the surface with water—no oil needed—and glide the blade across the stone at a consistent angle, alternating sides for even results. Do not use dry. This stone comes packaged in a Fire and Steel branded stone box for convenient storage and protection.
