Roronoa Zoro's "Meitou; Wado Ichimonji" Katana (Zoro Sword Wado Ichimonji - Wood)
Background of Zoro's Sword Wado Ichimonji
Roronoa Zoro is a member of the Straw Hat Pirates in the anime and manga series One Piece. He aspires to be the greatest swordsman in the world, as a way to honor a promise made with his deceased childhood friend, Kuina. A close companion to Monkey D. Luffy, he fights with his unique and powerful Three Sword Style.
The Wado Ichimonji (trans. "Straight Line through the Path of Harmony") is a sword that holds great importance to Zoro, as it was given to him by Kuina's father after her death. The Wado Ichimonji is a white Shinogi Zukuri katana with a black upper half of the blade and a shining silver edge.
The two other swords Zoro wields are the Yubashiri and the Sandai Kitetsu.
