Background of Brook’s Sword
"Soul King" Brook is a member of the Straw Hat Pirates in the anime and manga series One Piece. Before Brook died from poison, he ate the Revive-Revive Fruit, allowing him to return to his own body after experiencing death once. Honing the true powers of his Devil Fruit, Brook is able to temporarily separate his soul from his body to move through physical objects and feast upon those with weaker souls.
Brook wields the Soul Solid, a finely crafted weapon with a blade concealed inside a purple cane. Brook imbues the cold aura of his soul onto the cane, freezing the surrounding area and anyone who comes in contact with the sword.
