Background of Sasuke's Sword of Kusanagi

Sasuke Uchiha is a shinobi of Konoha in the anime and manga series Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden. A friend and rival to Naruto Uzumaki himself, Sasuke is driven by an unquenchable thirst for strength to allow him to exact revenge on his powerful older brother Itachi. Sasuke is a master shinobi and swordsman who wields a straight sword (chokuto) named the "Sword of Kusanagi" (the "Grass Cutter" / "Grasscutter" / "Grass-Mower"). The name is referring to the "Kusanagi no Tsurugi", one of the Imperial Regalia of Japan.

Super impressed.

First off, fire and steel was super responsive and friendly with any questions I had about my order. I just received my sword today and it was securely packaged and aside from the normal dust on the sheath and handle there was no dirt, debris, scratches or nicks. Such a beautiful piece to just look at. The sword has a bit of weight to it which is nice and it’s really big. Love it so much. Going to order afros tachi next!

Good for Collection

Bought one for my brother as his advance birthday gift by May and the Tanjiro Sword myself last Comicon event last week. Its my first time to attend on a such big convention event, unforgettable experience. So far for Kusanagi, not that sharp but its all the way good for display or for a better use. Gotta look forward to buy another set of swords next time.

Not exactly "Battle Ready" but still beautiful

Bought this sword about a week ago. I love the look weight and feel of it. I will need to touch up the paint where the tsuka meets the sheath, not a big deal.
I was expecting the blade to be sharper though. It doesn't seem ready to hit targets and may require sharpening which is a little disappointing after just buying it.
