Background of Tanjiro's Black Nichirin from Demon Slayer

Tanjiro Kamado is one of the key members of the Demon Slayer Corps in the anime and manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He fights demons using Water and Sun Breathing techniques. Tanjiro is a master swordsman who wields a black Nichirin blade, a katana style blade made of scarlet ore.
