Background of Asta’s Sword
Asta is a member of the Black Bulls, a Magic Knight squad of the Clover Kingdom in the anime and manga series Black Clover. Despite being born with no magic, Asta aspires to be the Wizard King, the strongest mage in the kingdom that protects everyone, especially those who cannot protect themselves. Asta possesses a five-leaf clover grimoire where a devil that gives him the power of Anti-Magic resides.
Surpassing his limits with intense physical training, Asta wields the extremely heavy Demon Slayer Sword. The Demon Slayer Sword is a black massive greatsword with a gigantic blade and a cross-shaped guard. Asta uses this sword to cut and reflect magic off the blade, as well as slicing down extremely powerful enemies.
